Location of Service
Our sessions are provided online unless otherwise specified.
Payments
All of our sessions are pre-booked and pre-paid through our online booking platform. Payments are held in a vault until you attend your session at which time payment will be released to us.
Sessions will NOT go ahead unless advance payment has been received.
All payments are inclusive of GST.
We do not charge enrolment fees.
We do not tutor on Public Holidays unless the tutor and parents agree. Sessions falling on a public holiday will be rescheduled free of charge.
Cancellations
Illuminate Learning 101 manages our lesson schedule to ensure a quality student learning experience. Please cancel your scheduled lesson at least 12 hours in advance to facilitate this.
If you have an account, please update your booking through your portal. Alternatively, email us at contact@illuminatelearning101.com.au, SMS, or call 0411032149 to notify us of your cancellation.
You must provide us with notice of your cancellation at least 12 hours before your session time. If you cancel more than 12 hours before your session, you can choose to have your payment refunded or credited toward a future lesson.
It's important to note that failure to cancel with at least 12 hours notice will incur a charge equal to the tuition session fee.

Rescheduling
We understand that things don't always go to plan. If you need to reschedule please do so at least 12 hours before your session.
If a tutor cannot make it to a scheduled lesson due to misadventure or other unforeseeable circumstances, your session will be rescheduled. If this cannot be arranged, the lesson will be refunded.
Group lessons with more than one student follow the same cancellation and rescheduling policies listed above.
Refunds
The Australian Consumer Law sets out consumer rights that are called consumer guarantees. These include your rights to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product or service you buy fails to meet our consumer guarantee.

Cash/monetary refunds for change of mind cancellations WILL NOT be honoured as per consumer law. If a monetary refund is granted, a $2 fee from each hour will be deducted from the refund as this is a fee we would otherwise incur from our payment provider. Any additional discounts applied to your booking will be forfeited.
Technical Issues
Please ensure that your internet connection is stable, your software is updated and your equipment works efficiently before attending your session.
Illuminate Learning 101 is not liable for any technical problems during lessons conducted online that are out of our control. We use a reliable satellite internet connection and regularly check and update our equipment to ensure we can be heard and seen clearly.
Students are encouraged to do the same before the lesson begins.
If Illuminate Learning 101 experiences technical difficulties, the time and duration will be logged, and we will offer the missed time as credit for future sessions.
Fee Increases
Due to increasing operational costs, we may periodically increase fees without notice. Any change to our fee schedule will be reflected on our booking pages and will only impact new bookings.
